Hi everybody. I will do this trip next week. Head up to Udon and then Nong Khai. So my question is, does anyone knows how long I'll have to wait to get my new tourist visa in vientiane?

I have done it in phnom penh, 3 days, penang, 2 days.

but dont go on a Thurs/fri otherwise you will still be there until mon/tues as they close at weekends.

Am planning on doing this trip myself soon so have looked in to it a bit but no first hand knowledge.

It is hand in application day 1, pick up day 2. but the application I believe has to be in before 12 and if you are doing the Nok Air flight in the morning to Udon you may not get there in time so you may need 2 nights in Vientiane.
