I will take my wife with me and she usually does all the smiling and talking ... I just smile and nod! thanks. March 18, 201313 yr I just renewed my retirement extension last Monday, although it was done at Chaeng Wattana. As long as your 800K or more has not dropped below the 800K limit in the last 3 months, you should have no problem. For Nonthaburi, I don't know how far away your closest bank branch would be, they may require a letter from your bank dated the same day you are renewing your extension.

March 18, 201313 yr I don't believe the requirements would be much different: Copy of your data page of passport. Copy the passport page(s) of your past retirement extensions. Copy the passport page that contains your last entry stamp into Thailand, with your last entry card. Letter from your bank about the details of your bank account. Copies of your bank book. That should do it.

Sometimes a thaidriver license can do the trick and some times an invoice with your name and address also is OK. I myself are showing my yellow Book (tabien baan) to the immigration - And on top of this you shall fill in the application TM7 Glegolo Edited March 18, 201313 yr by glegolo
March 18, 201313 yr They do not visit your house when on retirement extensions of stay. They might ask for location but it is not the deal it is for marriage extensions. I have never been asked for a map by immigration - even on marriage extension.
March 19, 201313 yr Ohh Nonthaburi Immigration office.... What they ask for out there can change from time to time... My good friend was ask to bring a ATM Slip not more the 1 hour old, From the bank he have he´s money in... Other one was ask to get a Bill. (power bill/water bill ect) to show he live at the place he put on as hes addresses...
March 19, 201313 yr Thanks for all your advice and experiences with your extension of retirement visa. One question: Do I have to do my extension application at the main immigration office at ChaengWattana, or can I complete it a regional immigration office such as Hua Hin? Many thanks for your advice/thoughts. Schbang.
March 19, 201313 yr You do at the office serving your physical location so it will depend on where you live what office you use. Most provinces have there own office now (although a few still serve more than one province). Office locations/maps/service areas are all available in the pinned topic at top of forum as useful immigration information.
April 9, 201313 yr Author All done this morning ... no problems. Staff all in bright coloured shirts and appeared quite happy. Was busy though. Bet the staff will be pleased to see 4pm or whenever! 8:30 at bank to get Bank Deposit Confirmation Letter 9:30 at Immigration (90Day report took 10 minutes) a very nice happy and talkative guy ... the bar code system is not working apparently. 10:30 Finished Annual Extension and Re-entry Permit Paperwork, again the lady was very pleasant. 11;45 Get Passport Back .... completed.
