March 11, 200620 yr I bought an engagement ring from one of the high-end retailers in Gaysorn plaza for my gf. Obviously I was sure that she would say yes to my proposal, but such was not the case. Aside from the heartbreak of denial, i'm stuck with a ring and no finger to put it on. Can you return engagement rings to the retailers? I don't want to stroll in there and ask them, cuz I was so happy when i bought it from them, i'd just feel like a loser asking if i could return the ring cuz my girlfriend denied me. I bought it about 2 months ago btw, but waited to propose... just wondering how thai retailers handle this stuff. Of course, my initial guess would be i'm stuck with it
March 11, 200620 yr Sorry to hear that. Normally you should be able to return it, depending on the Metal . You'll get less than you bought it for but you can give it back . Another option is.....keep it and give it to the one who will say "yes" good luck, rcm

Not only will the ring bring memories of the other girl but a different girl would not be pleased to find that she has been presented with a ring intended for someone else. Try to return it, swallow your pride, or make up some story if you feel the need to save face. If it is a high end jeweler returning it shouldn't be a problem.
March 11, 200620 yr Ask a friend to return it for you, that way you don't have to feel embarrased in the store & reminded of the bad memory. As for being turned down, well, some might say that it was for a reason. Everytime I have been disapointed in love matters someone better always came along & made me realise that that person wasn't right after all.
