Two suspected drug dealers caught by Pattaya Traffic Police

PATTAYA:--Two suspected drug dealers were stopped at a Traffic Police Checkpoint on the Sukhumvit Road late on Saturday Night and Police suspect the pair were on their way to the Pattaya Music Festival to sell drugs.

The checkpoint was set-up for the purpose of increasing security during the Festival weekend and one officer decided to stop at White Toyota Vios containing two men who appeared nervous when quizzed by Police.

Khun Aton aged 19 was driving and Khun Nantapat aged 30 was passenger in the car and the pair claimed they were on their way to Soi Sunee Plaza in South Pattaya where they were promised work in a Boy Bar. The pair claimed to have recently returned to their home town in Ayudhya Province after losing their jobs in a Sunee Plaza Bar which was raided and subsequently closed-down by Police.
