PATTAYA:--A building contractor who was employed to re-construct the interior of a Central Pattaya Karaoke Bar was blamed for a fire at the location on Wednesday afternoon which spread to an adjoining auto-repair shop.

Pattaya Fire Rescue Units were sent to the location just before 3.30pm to deal with the fire at the Honeymoon Karaoke Bar on 3rd Road in Central Pattaya. At the scene was the contractor Khun Pasagorn aged 43 and a very angry bar owner Khun Sunee aged 36.

It took fire-fighters more than 30 minutes to extinguish the flames which had spread throughout the bar and to the auto repair shop next-door, causing an estimated 100,000 Baht in damage.

If things dont go right, then pay a little money, and move on to the next job!

If this was an enclosed venue I am shocked that the fixtures an furnishings caught alight so easily, may be the contractor has done a big favor by setting the place alight while no one was inside.
