I am playing the song in the background as I type this. The kim (and the piano) is an excellent accompaniment for the soulful sound of the Khlùy (ขลุ่ย) . This is a song I would enjoy hearing any time.

There is a nice selection of other songs showing up after your selection is finished. They all make me I wish I could play the khluy.

That looks like a hammer dulcimer to me. I didn't realize it was the traditional Thai musical instrument. It's popular in many countries and lends an interesting sound to an ensemble.

I like the flute sound and tune but went off the kim after both my daughters started learning to play it.
