Where Can I Get A Watch Restored

Featured Replies

I have a couple of old watches from the 1950s (Omega and Longines) and they are very bad shape. Does anyone know where I can get them restored?

You didn't say where you are located. I know a great place but it is located in Chiang Mai.

My approx. 25 year old Rolex gave up the ghost, and my dealer sent it back to the factory. It was worn out including some jewels.

I got it back from the factory all rebuilt and polished up with a genuine Rolex certificate of re-manufacture, and a Rolex 2 year warranty, and a new crystal, all in a new Rolex box for a total of US$600 which I thought was an almost shocking bargain.

I'd contact the manufacturer first. I never know what I'm going to get from a "watch maker."

Right. I am in Bangkok, but mince about all over Thailand.

$600? I doubt the watch is worth that much

In Siam Paragon on the basement level there is a booth called Click Clack. They cleaned and oiled my Swiss watch a couple of years ago and apparently did a good job since it has kept good time since. Not especially cheap though.

That is cheap, I paid $2000 for my patek factory servicing and it took 5 months

Best place for old collectible and semi-collectible watch repair, restoration, and sales is on Sundays only flea market, top floor of the Pantip IT building2 on NgamWongWam road (not far from the Mall and close to the 2nd expressway.

Hi talk to Andy : http://www.timeman.net/ send him an email from there he will sort you out at the right price!!

Little shop at Chid Lom BTS, on the BTS station itself, towards the Central entrance. He mainly does repairs and servicing, enquire about restoring, I don't use anyone else while I'm here.
