My 1 year Thai driver's license (2 actually, 1 for motorcycle and 1 for car) expire on April 30 (this month). Do I go to renew before it expires or go to renew after it expires?

Also, I will now be issued with a 5 year license correct?

Here on Samui you must go after they expire.
The boss says you must have had the 1 year old a full year first.

A 5 year should be issued if you have a non-immigrant visa.

Bring same paperwork as first time.
