You may be genuinely surprised at the turnover and profit of a food stall or small restaurant with, say, as few as 10 tables.

Although your post simply provided further evidence supporting my point that this issue is poorly understood by the majority of posters.

There is a VAT registration threshold for businesses in Thailand set at turnover of 1.8 million Baht per annum.
