I would think there'd also be benefit from a facility - either here or there - for members or groups to curate lists of third-party videos relevant to a given topic or point of view.

Yes! Even 'how to get to and buy a bus ticket at Morchit' would be helpful for many people.

In your YouTube channel ... follow other expats in Thailand i.e. subscribe to their youtube channels ...

I'm in Chiangmai (been here 10 years)... my channel is at http://www.youtube.com/shamblesguru

some general videos taken in Thailand ... but many others relevant to teachers/students/learning

Great idea Boss, unfortunately count me out....I'm out in the sticks and have steam driven internet, so youtube is a non-event for me.

got a few on my YT channel made in thailand

mostly sightseeing from the car videos

important is that you get over that 9 minute limit very fast usually in about 2 or 3 months you get 15 ant a while after that unlimited like i get now

trouble is they are kind of too strict on copyright even got some trouble with music products i made 100% myself

but will subscribe to your channel offcourse
