yourauntbob
I hate to be a skeptic, but i dont think we will be seeing these in hospitals anytime soon. There is not much to skim off of 50-70k, its much easier to hid tea money in the 2-3 million baht devices

rubl
"Ischemic stroke has killed and impaired many Thai people due to late detection of the disease, which can lead to damage in patients' brains."The stroke itself is not a 'disease', but the possible result of a disease, accident or unknown (30 - 40% !). Anyway as usual start with wiki ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ischemic_stroke#Ischemic )and follow the references or just yahoo/google a bit. There is not much to skim off of 50-70k, its much easier to hid tea money in the 2-3 million baht devices Sadly for some people this device has come too late to detect the brain ischaemia, which can lead to impaired reasoning and to obsession with "tea money". I suggest you hold off on the enthusiastic endorsement until such time as the device undergoes clinical trials and is shown to actually work. even if it turns out that way you describe it is not bad. research work is often dead end work without a final product. that is part of the process. in the next stage they will be better. people use their creativity to do good things, research, make invention. some just use their brain to bash other. not very good.
