The best books on retiring to Thailand on Kindle that I have found are by someone called Bill Dean and are called How to retire to SE Asia and How to survive retirement in SE Asia, both $5 as I recall

Actually got around to reading this, and it's pretty good so far. Only about 1/3 of the way through though. I probably should have read a book like this before moving here, instead of finding everything out the hard way.

Just finished it. Pretty good. You could probably find all the info yourself online, but for someone planning to move here, it would save heaps of time having everything in one place.
