My wife and I share whats hers is mine and whats mine is hers . Our names are both on the bank accounts our spending money we place in a box in the kitchen . It works for us . I know quite a few men that pay there wife / girlfriend a salary nothing wrong with that if it works for them . If your going to get taken to the cleaners its going to happen either way . And it might not be an ex bar girl that washes your pockets dry .... How many here complain about our ex wives back home wearing them out ..

I'm glad I never went down that road. I already knew that based on all the arguments in previous relationships with falang women and their blatant irrationality, that I could never marry one. It would either be a Latina or Thai. I'm very happy with my current Thai girlfriend.

Its not. Cases of dual nationality for Chinese nationals are almost unheard of. AFAIK Chinese nationals that later take up citizenship of a different country are automatically renounced as Chinese citizens.

Being British we have a lot experience of this. Great Britain handed over Hong Kong to the PRC in 1997, one of my friends is Chinese and it was a catagoric rule you cannot hold both citizenships. Your either Chinese with a Chinese Passport or your British Chinese with a British Passport. You could technically hold, both, but if you were ever caught, you might find yourself in a lot of trouble as the Chinese are fiecely patriotic and simply do not allow it.

This was the reason, the British Government, gave all the Hong Kong residents that wanted them, British Passports, but they had to leave and come to Britain. If they stayed they could not enroll in the uptake.

Unless things have changed I dont think you can hold a VALID Chinese Passport and a Thai Passport legally, but you could technically if you applied for both, they just arnt playing the game.

Yes. Just my personal observation. Girls in Thailand with with extreme good looks find a way to cash in on it one way or another.
