I've had a few 12 month multi-entry non-imm O visas based on visiting one's Thai wife.

Now we have a child. What docs are needed to get the a 12 month multi-entry Non-O visa based on visiting one's child.

I'm Irish.

I guess her Thai birth certificate.

The Tabien Bahn she's listed in.

Do you want a new visa from a Thai consulate abroad or an extension of stay from immigration.

The rules for an extension of stay are the same as for a Thai wife, the rules for a new visa are also the same with the notation that in Asia it is more difficult to get a multiple non-O based on having a Thai child. In Savanakhet Laos you can get a multiple non-O based on your Thai wife without the need to show financials.

It would be a new multi-entry from Savannakhet.

I have previous non-O M.Entry from there based on visiting wife. No proof of funds needed.

I'm interested in the same visa but for visiting my child.

You will not obtain multi entry for visiting child in the region AFAIK.
