Hi all,


We’ll be moving from Chiang Mai to Dubai in August and are looking into ways to ship some stuff. The quotes we have received are astronomical (mostly port fees here and then again in Dubai). Do any of you know a cheaper way to ship a few boxes? A friend mentioned that some exporters

are happy to rent out a little space in their containers, anybody shipping to the UAE before August?

Freight Forwarder ship on variois basis, such as

FCL = FULL CONTAINER LOAD (means you use the total 20ft or 40ft room in the container)

or

LCL = LESS CONTAINER LOAD (which speaks for its self, variois people use the space)

So I suggest you talk to a FF and request priced based on your package size to be shipped using LCL
