Where can you buy a new or used exercise machine, particularly SOLOFLEX, BOWFLEX, Weider Ultimate Body Works, in Chiang Mai ??

I see a lot of them direct from the company or through Amazon, but I don't see a shipping option all the way to Chiang Mai, Thailand.

I found this Thai company ...

http://www.jojothai.com/%E0%B8%82%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%A2%E0%B8%94%E0%B8%B1%E0%B8%A1%E0%B9%80%E0%B8%9A%E0%B8%A5_Bowflex_SelectTech

but they only seem to sell a limited selection of dumb-bells and other items, not impressive.

I have searched online for it - trying to find a seller in Chiang Mai - but no luck so far.

Anyone knows ??

Anyone built their own racks/benches here? - or had someone build one??

you can try these guys...

They are Thai Association for the Handicapped, and they specialize in building custom bikes for the handicapped. I think they can build anything out of metal !!

I actually had my bike rack built by them, and liked the people there so much, I decided to help them by writing up an ad for them and helping them advertise on Thaivisa.

Yeah, I built a rack, a pulley system and most recently a bench. All up country, just get the dimensions of an existing one or off the net, draw the plans and get locals to build it. None of it is difficult if you have the gear. Last bench was a regular flat bench, made out of steel with a wood seat and the local bike seat shop did the foam and vinyl finish. 1500 baht. I imagine it will last forever.

There is a thai company called Marathon that does sports equipment. I don't know if they are in your area.

Seems to me if you go to each of there web sites they would have the information on where you could purchase their equipment.

If it is not available in a reasonable distance for you to purchase it you could go to the

Thai Visa ads see if there is any sellers there and put in an ad for your request for one.
