Map Of Thailand On My Garmin Nuvi 1300

Featured Replies

Bought a Garmin Nuvi 1300 a couple years ago in Sweden and it came pre-loaded with Scandinavian maps only. So I brought it to MBK in Bangkok and bought a micro-SD card with a map of Thailand on it but the problem is that I can't figure out how to get the device to find the new map. It's still trying to use the old Swedish map and is having trouble locating a satellite. Any ideas?

Go to Tools-Settings-Map-Info and your new map on the SD card should be listed here.

Thanks for the reply. The Thai map is listed there (and selected) but the device doesn't seem to be able to use it. It just shows a green screen with a blue dot and it's unable to acquire a satellite.

I copied my 2011 version garmin maps I have on an SD card onto another (8 gig) SD card for a friend after he bought a garmin nuvi 2415 from the UK. It wouldn't load at all. Eventually I realized the 8 gig SD card was too large for the nuvi 2415 to recognize. recopied the maps onto a 2 gig card and everything worked fine
