Waiting Times To Submit Uk Visa Application

Featured Replies

Folks

Any ideas on the current waiting time to submit a UK visa application? I cannot check the online diary wihout first doing all the paperwork. I dont want to do all the paperwork tonight but do need to know the approx waiting time so I can plan ahead.

Cheers

I'd say you'd almost get a next day appointment if you wanted one and weren't choosy on the time. My wife was at the VFS last Friday (a choice of 4 appointment times) having made the appointment on the Wednesday. Didn't check the Thursday as wasn't suitable.

So you'll get in quick without any hassle.

Just to add, that's only my experience.

And in case you weren't aware, you can save your application and come back to it later. No need to complete all at once. Ad long as you log-in once every 7 days your details will remain accessible.

Thanks!

Typically you can book your appointment to submit the documents within 7 days using their online calendar. So just get your application ready then complete that step.

Waiting times to process the visa depend on which visa you are applying for, Tourist type visa is 10-15 working days, settlement (we were advised) takes upto 15 weeks.
