Go into your local Tesco Lotus and pick up the leaflet.... then after you get a Thai to read and translate it for you.. you will know about 50% more than you know now.

I phoned Tesco a few years ago thinking they might be cheap. They emailed me a quote and it wasn't good; for the premium they were asking the 'sum insured' was low and insurance per passenger was low. I found cheaper policies with higher coverage through Chaz insurance brokers. Just my experience.

Don't know about Thailand but in the UK Tesco insurance is nowhere near the best, either on cost or coverage value.

I know several people who claimed on their Tesco insurance and had hell of job getting their money or any service - household and vehicle.

Its Class 2+, means covers you up to the specified amount (adjustable) as long as another party's vehicle is involved. So you aren't covered if you hit a wall, or the other person doesn't stop. Obviously, I may be wrong.....

They told me they don't insure cars being paid for through Tisco Finance. Is this true or were they just making me go away?
