U-Haul / Fedex Like Trucks

Featured Replies

G'day,

Do you know of places that sell such trucks, those U-Haul 10' or 14' trucks? My wife and I didn't recall seeing them while we were living in Chiang Mai. Are they generally expensive or more competitively priced like those locally produced cars?

I plan on getting one of those when I get back.

thanks

Matt

Most of these would be pick-up based. You can get a typical one-tonne pick-up with an enclosed cargo box. That'd be somewhat similar to a 10' truck (their smallest model).

Or, based on a Suzuki van:

Alternatively, a cargo version of a Toyota mini-van.

Above that, you get into actual trucks.

What small local businesses and traders do of course is a simple steel rack installed on a regular pick-up, that'd be the cheapest option.

Also, you can get these with doors at the back (and no benches, or removable benches) :

The Song Taew is ideal but it is too small, it has all the openings we need.

Ideally we want something like a food truck, maybe the van is a good enough substitute.

thanks

VW bus with a pop up roof?

We all have seen many mobil bars and food trucks use those. If's thats your direction?

TATA also makes some interesting trucks.
