No Water For Over 24 Hours......

Today is my 69th birthday and for a present I had a terrific downpour of rain, the roses came out for me and water came from the government pipes for the first time in about 12 weeks.

There is not much pressure but everybody is filling their tanks and it will probably take a couple of days to get the pressure back.

That was the best birthday present and anything else is a bonus.

Congratulation, roses, a water supply AND a birthday :)

we cant get delivery now as they say our tank is to high up and will break there pump not sure if this is true or the fact that it takes 3 - 4 times longer to fill our tank over the ones on the ground

Try some of the English speaking Newspapers too. A quick google will give you their contact numbers. If only one follows up the story it might help.

Thanks. It IS nice to be able to flush the toilet and not worry too much about how much water is left.

I think mthat everybody in the villages are filling their tanks as well.

The pressure is low and I have managed to fill 16 x 1,500 litre ongs since about 4 pm yesterday. Only 4 more to go.
