Thong-in Phasomphuech (or Phasomphuet)

Niphon Phasomphuech

Thong-in means "Gold of Intra", Intra being a Hindu deity. Niphon means "to write". The family name is something like "mixed vegetation".

Thongin Phasompheut

Niphon Phasompheut

Considering the Royal Thai system, ue is more correct than eu here. (Compare with, for example, Don Mueang.)

Yes, I believe you're right. I was trying to write it the way that it sounds, but it would most likely be written with a 'ue' in any official documents :)
