zulugutt
I see that most people dump their garbage close to the road some places, also furniture and stuff. I would like to do it the right way and throw everything at a garbage dump, but I have no idea where it is. I live in Kata, so as close as posible would be nice. cornishcarlos
Never seen a real dump !! You could take it to a 'recycling' center.. Most people round my way just burn everything they can't sell, not that I'm suggesting you do that..
Jimi007
There is only one real garbage dump, in Phuket Town near the incinerator in the Saphan Hin area... Or go to your Or Bor Tor's office and ask them to do a pickup for you. Edited May 23, 2013 by Jimi007
NamKangMan
I don't know what you call "garbage." If it's old clothes, and as you mentioned, furniture, is it possible you could take it to one of the Burmese camps? Maybe you could donate it - rather than dump it. NomadJoe
There are piles of garbage next to the Rawai OrbotTor.
stevenl
It really depends on what you'd like to dump. Normally others will find many useful things in your garbage, so this really is a system of recycling (with its flaws of course).
