01 June Gala Dinner Programme Is Out

There’s a more detailed listing out now (a bit late) of what’s going to happen at the Imperial Mae Ping’s Gala Charity Dinner bash on Saturday night.

Nice to see that Geoff Allen will do a turn on stage on drums with Dang Fantastic! All in all, seems like an nice mix of eating, drinking, being entertained, and dancing the night away. Good to note that drinks are apparently at ‘reasonable prices’ not the usual hotel rip-offs, and soft drinks are included.

There are also some fairly graphic photos (then and now) of the heroic young boy who was burned over 50% of his body trying to rescue others at the Refugee Camp blaze over two months ago. Funds raised at the dinner will go to help his continuing treatments, as he is not covered by Thai social security. I'm happy to see that he appears much improved.
