Report Thailand Eyes Passenger Fee Hike to Fund Airport Upgrades
They are also forgetting the fact that Singapore is an exceedingly rich country that makes more from any traveller on taxes than they could ever need, therefore they can subsidise the PSC to promote their (single) airport. I still maintain it makes no difference to any single tourist anywhere as who looks up what the PSC is at a destination airport when they book their holiday? Most people don't even know there is such a thing at all, they just buy their flight tickets for where they want to go. So this thread is full of the typical AN whinging about nothing. -

Middle East Macron's Bold Move: France to Recognise Palestinian State
Nothing to do with all the land ‘acquired’ since 1967? Since Israel’s founding in 1948, Europe – once a continent torn apart by endless wars – has been largely at peace. Meanwhile, the Middle East has seen war after war. Israel may have withdrawn from Gaza in 2005, but it never truly let go. What followed was not freedom – it was blockade. Air, land, sea – all tightly controlled. Two million people, most of them refugees from past wars, have been trapped in what many call an open-air prison. That’s not peace – that’s siege. In the West Bank, the story is no better. Illegal settlements continue to expand, carving up the land meant for a future Palestinian state. Settlers are protected – often armed – while Palestinians are pushed into smaller and smaller areas, denied permits to build even basic homes. Some roads are for Jews only. Is that equality – or apartheid?
