When trying to communicate, it is important to write in a fashion that is understood. He seems to understand the level of English that would be understood. biggrin.png

Should have been Tinglish to throw them off the track. Then they would be going bar to bar to find him. biggrin.png

Speaks volumes for American english teachers.

Here we go.

Just a tongue in cheek comment no offence intended. It is funny having a note written like this and it turns out to be an english teacher. Being American is just a bonus for jokes.

Fair enough. Just these 'seeds' have a tendency to grow out of hand. wink.png

I am wondering how they got on to the guy. Remember the note was written for someone with about a 5th grade English comprehension level

Maybe he wanted more than the 49% interest in the business venture and his thai partner was not having any of that.

62? Must have just found out that his SSA didn't meet the income standard for a retirement visa in Thailand and got pissed off. Should have saved for retirement.

"my long haired translator (wife app) said that he had 2 or 3 wives/girlfriends and liked to gamble and go to go go bars"

That is what they call going native.

I am struggling to comprehend that the person that wrote that note is here teaching kids English. Looks to be written by a 5 year old.

You should take the time to have a chat with some foreign English teachers in this country smile.png

To all the contributors that are complaining or indicating on behalf of the bank robber the poor wages of the Thai school teacher, you are reminded that no one asked him or any one else to be a teacher, as no one asked him to rob a bank, In mitigation I would say that he was miss led by the antic's of the PTP administration and could see the benefits of being rich, little did the robber know that the gravy train is at platform 13.coffee1.gif

One man loses the plot and now it's bash all Yanks.

Pathetic.

Why couldn't it have been a Muslim losing the plot, allowing for these blokes to go on the generic bash? Life just isn't fair.

Did he have a work permit? Aside from that digression, what has being a teacher got to do with this? I only see that a foreigner robbed a bank. Cut his balls off, boil them and let him burn in Hell.... erm... oh, sorry, ... heh heh... wrong topic. I mean, throw him in the slammer.

What was his Thaivisa handle?

Rich teacher?

That's funny!

Be careful....Be very careful

Rich Teacher being one of The Man from Afar's mouthpieces will soon be arriving with a battery of lawyers serving libel writs ...they may even have the assistance of the bloated not so successful farang lawyer

BTW, bash the yanks if you come from a small socialist country on the brink of collapse & have gotten a lot of US aid over the course of the past few decades (or would otherwise be speaking German right now).

Surely others can join in too?

Would have thought that to be able to teach English to Thai kids you would need some basic knowledge of Thai or at the very least have an English Thai dictionary.

That being the case surely he could have written the note in Thai.
