I have a Nationwide current account with Visa facility and want to obtain some Thai Baht. Rather than use the ATM system as it will only allow a maximum of equivilent of 300 pounds sterling, I was wondering whether a bank of money exchange here in Pattaya would let me have say 3000 pounds via the visa facility which would be covered by my current account with Nationwide.

If this is possible, would there be a chargeby either the Thai bank or visa?

Also, my father did this and he was with the Nationwide, he had his passbook for the Thai bank, his passport and he contacted Nationwide to notify them of the withdrawal.

Siam commercial bank inside Tuk Con allow you to withdraw upto 250,000 baht.

Some banks in Central Festival have a maximum of 150,000 baht.
