hola,

just a quick question. i'm in bkk now and have a non im. b visa. i want the work permit and work legally but i'm a designer and have been accepted to work at an architects firm out here. i have been told that you cannot be a "designer" or "architect" in thailand. so what should i call myself to get the work permit? can i be a"project manager" or something?

cheers,

'Consultant' seems a common (and legal) choice, I'm an 'Engineering Consultant', you could be an 'Architectural Consultant'.
