Shoe-Shiner Murdered at disused building in North Pattaya

PATTAYA:--Pattaya Police were called to a disused building behind Tesco-Lotus in North Pattaya on Monday Morning following the discovery of a man who had sustained major head trauma which is thought to have caused his death.

The dead man was identified as Khun Tienchai aged 39, who worked as a shoe-shiner. He was known to sleep in the disused building as he had no permanent address. According to his family he had come to Pattaya 2 years ago in search of work and struggled to find well-paid employment.

The body was found by Khun Wichai aged 44, a noodle vendor, who had seen the victim on Sunday, involved in an argument at the location with two unknown men.
