webfact Posted June 8, 2013 Share Posted June 8, 2013 Police wrap up autopsy of first victim in 2010 political violenceBy Digital MediaBANGKOK, Jun 8 – An autopsy report on the first victim who was shot dead in the 2010 Bangkok’s political upheaval will be submitted to the Criminal Litigation Department for further action in court.The victim, identified as Kriangkrai Kamnoi, 24, was a tuk-tuk taxi driver who was among nearly 100 people killed in the months-long violence in several areas of the capital.He was shot during a demonstration in front of the Education Ministry on Rajdamnern Avenue on April 10, 2010 and was pronounced dead at nearby Vajira Hospital.The Criminal Court would be requested to determine details and cause of Kriangkrai’s death during a crackdown by military forces against protesters of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship, known as the Red Shirts.Police said the cases of three other victims who were killed near Bon Kai area on Rama IV Road will be wrapped up soon by the Department of Special Investigation.One of the high-profile cases was the murder of Maj Gen Kattiya Sawasdipol, or Seh Daeng, a former specialist of the Royal Thai Army who was killed on May 13, 2010.Investigation into the case has yet to be finalised, police said.The Criminal Court and Bangkok South District Court have so far ruled on nine fatal cases in the 2010 political unrest including Italian journalist Fabio Polenghi.The court announced that Polenghi, killed at Sala Daeng intersection on May 19, 2010, was shot by a high velocity bullet from the direction of army personnel which was assigned to deal with violence in the capital at the order of the government at that time. I do not understand, Deputy Prime Minister has already told the international press that Seh Daeng was killed by the Police. He has also told the world that the Men in Black were police. So what is taking so long for the police to determine that the killer was police. Oh! that was a dumb question. If they are unable to do so then the bullets were not fired by the army, pretty straight forward really, the bullshit about the direction bullets came from means nothing, match the rifling on the bullets to army rifles as they are accessable along with the person that had it issued to him, if that cannot happen then they are climbing the wrong tree and need to look at the reds otherwise they should just shut up and leave it to someone that can do it properly and that will nit be anyone in Thailand. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Does this mean that the police still have all the bodies from 2010 stored away somewhere? The alternative would be that an autopsy was done at the time and the autopsy report given to the police or whoever these things are given to for any action to be taken. Now the police under PT control have dug up this and other reports and will now bring forth any that they think can be pinned on Abhisit and Co. Look at the uproar in the US over the killing of American citizens by unarmed drones. They had an armed faction which had been shooting at and killing army personel The Govt enacted an emergency decree in order to combat these armed rebels. You must try to understand that if you attack an army with weapons of war, as the reds did, then you must expect retaliation in kind. The reds were warned, pleaded with even to go home, but the leaders chose to ignore all warnings and indeed swore to fight to the last drop of blood.(someone else's blood) In the end the only option left to the Govt was to clear them out by force.
