concealed soi-frogs wait to sing again: 'here i am, love!;'

monsoon karacroaky blind-matings' shows: not on, yet:

future floods' seeds still ghosts in China sea's wet wind;

May's cloy of night-blooming jasmine's scent, a shadow

sun's merciless thirst sips from stretched daylight hours;

Ping River falls, lower, topsoil-brown mud still in the hills:

young lovers at night, on the one-way iron-bridge, laugh,

pose for pictures later will show a fisherman's tiny catch

Doi Suthep's outline wavers, in-and-out of focus in haze;

subtle southerly winds push larval thunderheads to east,

then north-east: heart skips-a-beat reliving old memories,

shards of dream meander in humid mind's clinging sticky

Mithoonaayon's pilgrimage to the miraculous rains: halts;

snagged by the habit of being blind to Thai smiles' sweet

I want some of what you're on.

Sawasdee Khrup, Khun Saan,

Then, be on the Earth. Breathe in-and-out.
