If you're in Thailand, on what basis is that?

Are you retired here, or in employment? I'm sure some of you are studying on ED visas, (although from news reports, the amount of 'study' that some do may be minimal...)

Me? I'm everything but retired. I have family and business in Thailand, but I also work in neighbouring countries. Sometimes i'm here on a business visa and sometimes (like right now), I'm on a tourist visa as I pass through between overseas jobs. Occasionally I'm a student (studying Mandarin on the last occasion).

Black ops probably falls under my previous Tourist Police volunteer work

Im on ED visa just bought apartment now on the lookout for business opportunities between here and China.
