Good to see that the Dinner & Dance on 01 June at Imperial Mae Ping Hotel raised 232,547 Baht for the Best Friend Burmese Library. It looks like it was a very successful evening.

Among other things, this will guarantee the continuing skin grafts and rehabilitation of the heroic 14-year old kid Chaa Nay Choo, who was burned over 50% of his body whilst trying to save others in the Mae Surin refugee camp fire, nearly three months ago. He is still recovering in hospital, where being stateless, he is not covered by the Thai social security medical services, so all treatments have to be paid for. The comparison photos of the boy on the web site happily show a great improvement. Let's hope he makes a full and complete recovery.
