Can anyone recommend a good shipping agent / company that ship from Australia to Thailand.

dont use 7 seas, they sent 6 boxes over for me, quoted 60 day delivery and it took over 100. When they arrived my things had been pilferred, computer tower was broken from rough handling, all my software was missing, new egyptian cotton towels gone, cooking gear gone, books gone and various other things were no loner in the boxes. Complained to 7 seas and they simply refused to do anything about it. It was a well priced job($800 odd) but if I had realized how bad they were I would have gone with another agent.

try kent removels they came and packed everythingup for me and shipped it door to door . they have a office in melbourne and sydney as well . look them up in white pages

Did Customs levy any import duty on the damaged goodies ? That would really ruin my day.

nope, even my bottles of wine were not taxed/duties added at all and there were several of them, I actually was surprised that they were still there but then they were in the middle of one of the big boxes, the rest of the gear was on top of the boxes mostly.
