birthdate error

Featured Replies

i have entered my thai wifes birthday wrongly on the VAF4A form. Will the ECO reject my application for settlement visa even if we attach a note ?

As you are talking about adding a note, I assume you haven't submitted the hard copy.

Alter the hard copy, attach a short note pointing out the error and you should be fine.

No, if you have submitted the form onto the system you cannot, unless you the whole process again.

Just amend the hard copy you submit.

That's what I meant.

It's annoying, the old forms were written, if a mistake was made just needed to print off the page.

I made a mistake 5 times on the financial form luckily it's written.

Simpler, surely, to do as theoldgit suggests; amend the hard copy and attach a note explaining what you've done rather than start the whole process all over again?

It's the hard copy the ECO will look at, anyway, as that's the one signed by the applicant.

Obviously, mistakes do happen and the ECOs are well aware of this.

Wont be a problem.
