Bagwan
Time after time on this forum Chalerm has been called many things and " a disgrace " being one of the milder yet he rolls on unchecked getting more and more ridiculous, outrageous and downright dangerous. Just what does this idiot have to say or do before he is finally ditched as being too much of an embarrassment or does he know too much to be alienated ? Yes, he knows too much. Simple as that. Thailand's very own J. Edgar Hoover. Not sure that Calerm is a transvestite though. Wouldn't be a pretty sight.
Popular Post MikeOboe57
I demand that PolCapt C takes a breathalyzer test every time before he makes a public statement. That would help us in understanding the deeper meaning of his words.

Just what does this idiot have to say or do before he is finally ditched as being too much of an embarrassment or does he know too much to be alienated ? Even if PTP were so soundly thrashed at the next election that not a single constituency candidate was elected, a mere few thousand votes nationwide would be enough to elect arguably the 2 worst politicians in the country to office under the party list system. That has to be the best argument for abolishing the party list. enlighten me as to who are the worst 2 polititions in los please,,i dont understand your point thanks,,
NongKhaiKid
Chalerm is truly the national embarrassment for Thailand. There is NOTHING that says more about the dysfunctional government currently in office now, than his continued presence in an important political position. The mess the government is in can be highlighted with this and another current thread which gives us a Deputy PM who can't keep his mouth shut and a PM who won't open hers. What a combination !

Bagwan
Deputy PM Chalerm: Govt still strong despite rice pledging scheme BANGKOK, 22 June 2013 (NNT) - Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yubamrung has expressed confidence that the rice pledging scheme and ongoing political protests will not damage the government’s stability. Regarding protests by the White Mask Group, Mr Chalerm said the group was allowed to gather but it should not relocate for security and order reasons. He also assumed that the Opposition Democrat Party was a supporter of the White Mask Group. The deputy premier confirmed the government would not dissolve Parliament. He said he believed both the controversial rice pledging program and political demonstrations at present would not affect the stability of the administration as the matters were not corruption-related. Mr Chalerm was confident that farmers’ discontent with the reduction of rice pledging price would be resolved after the government talked to them. -- NNT 2013-06-22 The farmers may have taken onboard the old adage "You can always tell when a politician is lying. His lips move." Maybe this idiot's confidence is misplaced?
SICHONSTEVE
I am a police officer. Police Captain Chalerm, yes, indeed, you are, and being the epitome of all that's morally good and righteous in Thailand, I'm sure you will understand the meaning of your words. And as a police officer, you will also know full well the meaning and implication of the Royal Thai Police motto, 'Protect and Serve'. Or maybe not. I wouldn't think that being a police officer in Thailand is anything worth boasting about!! would you? That's akin to saying "look at me" "I'm a thieving son of a b**** prepared to take tea money from a little old poor lady" to enrich my own lifestyle and go drinking and gambling with my police buddies!!. djjamie
The easiest way to restrict the ability of people to criticize you is to make it dangerous to do so. This can be done through passing laws—so that people can be thrown in jail, fined, or sued for saying certain things. But it can also be done through so rousing your followers that they will try to harm anyone who disagrees with you. That is what Chalerm does.

Roadman
"If they [the Democrat Party] were not been behind the white masks, the group would not have grown so quickly," Chalerm said. Thaksins criminal henchman can't quite figure out that it is not the Democrats that are growing this line of discontent against his bunch of mafia criminals and thieves; its from educated and middle class people who are seeing these incompetent, corrupt trough feeders for what they are. I hope the White Masks do rally at sites at will as more of the same from Chang Mai under these sort of threats from this thug on the world stage will just spell more nails in the Thaksin coffin. Thaksin and this thugs days of reckoning are coming closer all the time. Karma will prevail over these scum. Unfortunately it is going to cost a lot more every day Thai blood. And go the AB's. I believe that too be the case. He is as big a buffoon as Jatuporn and yet he still holds a position in the Government. He must have some thing on the man in Dubai. Why does he not say who this unidentified party is. He knows as well as the rest of the world it is the red shirts. If it is his duty to protect the protesters where was he in Yasothon and Lamphan? then to dig the hole deeper he says " "Abhisit doesn't have to teach me about responsibility. I am a police officer" Now there is a reassuring statement. Not

AleG
By the way he is covering his arse in the statements another possibility is that his comments are in fact, aimed at the more virulent faction of the Red Shirts. That he knows there are elements ready to (again) carry out grenade attacks against anti-Thaksin groups and his statements are a "watch out what you do because it'll get us (specially me) in hot water". Mind you, no real concern about the well being of the protesters in white masks, just a matter of political manoeuvring.

It interesting to note that the UDD is fracturing into splinter groups with differing agendas and tactics, the main group blame the dems for the violence against the white masks and are stating that they are renouncing that activity....... "Mr. Thanawut also urges UDD supporters not to fall into the traps by staying away from the Guy Fawkes protests and the Democrat Party rally in the future in order to lessen the political stress on the streets which can be used by the Am-mart as an excuse for another military intervention....(however) if there are small movements from other splinter group of the Red Shirts, there is nothing to be surprise about."

rubl
""If the white-mask people roam around and someone lobs a grenade at them, who will be held responsible? Eventually, it will be the government," Chalerm warned." Dept. PM Pol. Captain Chalerm probably still remembers the 60+ grenades lobbed during the March - May 2010 red-shirt season. Somehow only injuring or killing non-red-shirt army personel, multi-color shirts, BTS users and a few police officers. Although not yet charged for this, the Abhisit government has surely been blamed.
