Safety harness.

I hope they nail those responsible, but then Thailand is not the UK where co-workers, supervisors, managers, and even the managing director can be held responsible for doing nothing.

If memory serves, this is the second such incident at this site - another worker fell to his death about a month ago.

That doesn't mean a stricter policy on safety.

It just means an up-size of the spirit house.

Just in case people start bashing on safety on construction sites.........I'm living next to a former construction site (the complex is ready now). All workers, including the sub-contracted workers, had to wear safety harnesses, helmets and proper safety shoes.

Still some doubtful actions, but a pretty safe sight.

Another day without an injury on the job... fatalities don't count of course on high-rises in Asia. This, since the victims (of the GC's poor management practices & lack of equipment) are unidentified immigrants from the closest poorer country. His family & home village may never hear what happened to him, and it used to be that every megaproject site had an unmarked graveyard out back.

Anybody know who's the GC on the job?

He may have been Cambodian but doesn't RIP come into this - or is that just for westerners?

I suppose more importantly many of us would like to see no more such "accidents" regardless of nationality...

RIP
