Why not just save money, get some exercise, and wash the car yourself...then you won't have to interact with those darn dishonest Thais! thaicbr
Just trying to upsell you on some extras...big whop. Why not just save money, get some exercise, and wash the car yourself...they you won't have to interact with those darn dishonest Thais! Up selling means telling you why it's a good idea to have it. Then you decide. What they do at the car wash places ( I'm presuming the yellow one) is blatant bullshit. Sent from my i-mobile i-STYLE Q6 I really don't know, the car washes I see charge 150-200 baht...I have never used those hi-so car spas that charge 400-500. If I wanted to pay those prices, I could have stayed in America.
ThaiBob
If this is the same chain as by Homeworks and CF, I find they do a superior job but if it is worth the premium costs is questionable.

pattayadingo
I use a hosepipe and some elbow grease. Problem solved sounds good when shall i bring it round? D.I.Y. Benefits are that you leave any dirt or wax behind, only you to blame. One of my neighbours washes his car in the street every time it rains. He even wears his wife's shower cap to keep his hair dry!!
bangkokstick
555+ Who is anyway stupid enough to pay 500 thb for a high pressure wash that will kill your painting ? For this price I expect they lick the car to clean it !

Maybe he can't be arsed washing it himself, maybe nowhere to do it, maybe he can't be bothered buying soap / hose pipe / cloths etc. He asked about a service provided, it was the standard Thai BS so he left - good man! I get my cars done for about 200 baht each, they pick them up and drop them off - good enough for me ( minimal interaction with the "darn dishonest thais" so result all round ).
