Help ! Anyone know of a good English speaking WEDDING CELEBRANT ?

Featured Replies

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

If you're talking about say at a beach or something, anyone can do it, no qualifications required used to know a guy that did them with a mail-order paper "Universal Life Church" but even that's not required in Thailand. The concierge at upmarket beach resorts would probably know. . .

Also lots of churches give services in English here, I doubt if they'd be too fussy about it if you're a different denomination or for some even atheists as long as you're paying for the service.

If you can hang on for a couple of days, i know of 2. One is a Scotsman, Big Johnny Patterson who lives at Chaweng. And the other is an Australian lady who's father "Aussie Mick" has a bungalow resort off soi 5. I will get some phone numbers and come back to you .

<deleted> is a WEDDING CELEBRANT???

i have been married 4 times, once in Scotland, once in England and twice in Thailand and I have never heard of a

" WEDDING CELEBRANT" are we talking about a Minister of the Church or Registrar???

A wedding celebrant does the same thing as a priest or minister " do you blah blah take blah blah to be your lawful wedded wife " etc just that there is no religion stuff involved. In my case it will just be for ceremonial purposes, as I will already be legally married by thai law. The wedding is at the rose garden an hour outside Bangkok in early September.

Thanks for all your help guys , really appreciate it

Cheers ben
