According to some posters here, the deal is sealed upon eating your first plate of somtam together.

So 'Hew khao, my boss not pay me' is a marriage proposal ?

Then you say I am not morally married because I never was asked for or paid sin sod, I beg to differ with you.

When you live under the same roof as your partner you are considered married!

I disagree. Many people live together with out the intent of getting married. Some are just happy to be with each other and not need the paper to show it. There is a trial time of moving in together as well. You need to see if you are willing and able to share your space with that person. So if I had a woman move in with me I could not consider her my wife due to not knowing if it was going to work or not. I think Marriage is cut and dry. You get a piece of paper that is offical you are married, if not you are just Bf/Gf. Take what ever moral high ground you want to say or show but thats prety cut and dry.

You're married when you leave your balls at immigration on the way in.

You're married when you can't have a beer without askin her.

You're married when you can't make a decision on your own anymore.

You're married when you open a joint bank account but you're not allowed a card.

You're married when you're broke.

You're married when you're scared to voice your opinion incase she throws you out.

You're married when your opinion don't mean shit.

You're married when.......................................... the list is endless.

You're life is over, get used to it. thumbsup.gif

Legally: When you go down the amphur and sign the marriage papers!

Morally: When you hand over the sinsod to the in-laws!

After 3 divorces there is no 'Legal' marriage for me.

Never ever considered payments to any parents for a woman in any form.

I think it is in my mind only. And it can change. Hate to live under obligations.

Sinsod? Go to he'll. This is not my culture!

I belong to myself. It's my life. If I am not happy to do it - I simply don't! coffee1.gif
