avatar -- failed upload from week ago -- suddenly visible

Featured Replies

A week or so ago i tried to change my profile pic to display a particularly winsome pattaya local celebrity.

At that time, the image would not upload, the feature kept hanging and i eventually gave up.

Imagine my surprise to find her staring back at me today from my screen, improperly cropped to boot.

can anyone explain why?

Maybe the Avatar was confused by all your resurrection back to the Forum.

BTW ... isn't that a copyright photo from Pattaya One?

stick to being obsequious, wit is obviously not your strong point.

mods, i managed to change back, all good on this end, though you may want to speak to david48, the union might object to him trying to do your job for you.

seems i spoke too soon, i still appear to be that winsome young lady despite trying multiple times to change

I removed the avatar as the one I see is a copyright violation as mentioned. Try another one. It can take from a few minutes to several days before an avatar shows up correctly due to ISP caching. Many ISPs set their TTL (time to live) of their proxy caches way to high.
