Home Repair man

Featured Replies

I have a leaking roof and other house repair stuff. Anyone know a reliable guy to do the work.

Cheers.

Maybe better ask Homeworks or Homepro ? They work with some companies if you buy materials.

Hard to find someone to do small job here.

Agreed. The days of the local handyman being easily found in Pattaya have long gone. Even people doing extensive home repairs, renovations and even new-builds are having a hard time finding labour AND skilled supervisors. There's plenty of Cambodian and Burmese labour about but these seem to be mostly busy on the high-visibility, high-value projects where there's sufficiently deep pockets and connections where nobody appears to worry about work permits.

Now, if breadbin already has his go-to Mr Fixit, he better keep tabs on him as they are scarcer than hen's teeth these days.

Try to get hold of the authorised C Pack roofing contractors, the local Home Mart shop should have a contact number for them, they will do a proper job on the roof at least.

Be also careful with the farangs offering all kind of "repair" services.
