Hello,

I'm sure it's been covered but couldn't find the specific answer I'm looking for.

I will apply for a non-immigrant '0' via in the UK. I am married to a Thai and we have a child.

Do I need to get documents translated into English and then verified by the ministry before applying in the UK or are the Thai copies.

My check list so far is

1) Marriage certificates - translated, photocopies or original required?

2) Birth certificate - translated, photocopies or original required?

Thanks for your help.

Thai copies should be OK, you do not heed to have them certified by the Ministry.

Thai consuates normally allow applying by mail, send copies! The embassy might want to see the original if you go there in person.

Check the webiste for the consulate you will be using for required documents.
