Ladyboy snatches Gold Necklace from Russian companion on Pattaya Beach

PATTAYA:--A Russian Tourist who met a Ladyboy on Walking Street in South Pattaya and agreed to take him back to his Hotel for a fee of 2,000 Baht, became the victim of a necklace snatch early on Sunday Morning conducted by his companion for the night.

A Security Guard working for the Montien Hotel was able to detain the suspect, Khun Nigon aged 26, who is known to Police as a persistent offender. He is accused of snatching the gold necklace from Mr. Evgeni Kasancev aged 26, in front of the Hotel on Pattaya Beach Road, as the pair prepared to enter the Hotel complex.

Police soon arrived and detained Khun Nigon, who claimed to have taken an opportunity to steal the low-value necklace which he thought was worth more than the 2,000 Baht

I guess it just gets to a point with some of these guys that stealing doesn't even register any guilt, worry or other normal human emotion anymore. Quite sad really. We often see that they are repeat offenders (but since the crimes are against farang, they're not seem as REAL crimes by the police, so no actual punishment is given).
