Animal Hospital Costs in Sattahip.

Featured Replies

Recently I was supplied two small bottles of eye drops for one of my dogs by my vet located on the left in Pattaya Thai road priced at 195 and 180 baht respectively.

I live very near Sattahip, so when I required a replacement bottle I thought to save money travelling to Pattaya I would get it from the animal hospital opposite Tesco in Sattahip. They wanted to charge me 350 baht. I declined explaining that I had previously been charged 195 by another vet. I am certain my vet,Dr. Chaiplum, makes a decent profit, so the charge in Sattahip was extortionate. I realise that they can charge as they wish,

Sometime ago I wanted to purchase some anti tick tablets from the vet near Dow Tan (not sure how to spell, so phonetic), they wanted to charge me 80 baht a tablet, I can get 10 for less than 500 at the vet in Pattaya.

Needless to say I will not be visiting either establishment again.

This comment in no way reflects on the care that they offer to animals just their excessive profit supplying supplimentary drugs.
