glennb6
I bought cash. Registered in wife's name. I want to sell it shortly - can I do that without wife's involvement ?
ThaidDown
Since it belongs to your wife the quick answer answer would be no.
stevenl
Yes, you can sell without her involvement, but for the buyer to register in his name you need her ID card, housepapers and signature on paperwork.
anon210
Yes, you can sell without her involvement, but for the buyer to register in his name you need her ID card, housepapers and signature on paperwork. Which comes in short to say that to transfer ownership of the car you need the wife's involvement (or whichever person's name is mentioned on the blue book).
