But the information on this forum gives me second thought. ... Is it really so dangerous there and whant about drugs? Also, a friend if mine who has recently been there told me that virtually every foreneigner on Koh Samui has tattoos!! What is that about. Will I be accepted without? I reckon you've never been to Samui before. So the old advice : Go to samui and rent for 6 months, than you have a base to make up your mind OBJECTIVELY. Simple and efficent. I have never come across drugs when there. I'm a farang and have no tatoo, neither has my farang wife! Samui has something for everyone. Very quiet in some places, just quiet in others, a bit wild here and there, and madness in other places. It depends on what you like/want.
