heard a rumour that analog tv that comes through the rooftop aerial which is still used by some people in the village will be stopped this year

can anyone tell me if this person who conveyed this to my g/f mum was correct?

Digital free to air TV is coming yes, but no way is analogue disappearing this year - they still can't reach an agreement over the way digital licensing is going to work...

Digital also comes via the rooftop aerial, unless you have cable service or a satellite dish, which render the aerial useless.
