July 28, 201312 yr Hello! I'd checked some products (fruits and vegetables) from local markets with a nitrate meter - the nitrate level was ok everywhere. Now want to check products for other substances. Is there a lab in Chiang Mai, which can do it for me? Also I want to check some water for the same.
July 28, 201312 yr CMU Edit: P.S. testing water can get very expensive. I seem to recall as much as 10-15K Baht for every test they offer at CMU. Maybe figure out what in particular you want to test for. You might not need to test for all the metals, etc.
July 28, 201312 yr Hire a tester. If your tester gets sick then don't eat it. Seriously though there are so many possible conditions to test for. Why check for Nitrates? There are many nitrates in natural foods like vegetables. Celery is very high.
