Does any one have the contact details for the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur? I have been trying all sorts of combos with the numbers and nothing has worked. It has been driving me right up the wall. Below are the details that I have, if they are correct can some one please tell me how to dial out. Many thanks.

When calling Malaysia, first dial 09+06+area code+telephone number

For international call to Malaysia, dial +6 infront of the numbers given.

Btw they upgrade the numbers recently

Yup KL numbers are all 8 digits now after the state code. 03 is KL & Selangor. You would dial

+603 2148 8222 or

008 603 2148 8222 or 007, 009, 002. depends on what line you using and how much you wanna pay per minute. 008 & 009 cheapest. Or be like me and use SKYPE!

Nope. After trying all combos it still did not work. Drove a madd man sane it did, yes it did. And after .05 hours of my Thai girlfriend talking to various Thai operators the end suggestion was for us to call the Malaysian Embassy in Thailand. Now that, made me laugh. Dont want to be bitter but man, I failed to see how they could help us if there is a problem with the lines.

Thanks for your help, but I am going else where. I figure if it is this much trouble just to call, I should take the hint and not force it.

BTW, I was calling from Chaing Mai.

Called the number from my mobile in Bangkok, works fine just that they are out for lunch up till 2.30pm (local time).

Maybe with land line you wanna try 007 or 001 603 XXXX XXXX

Yeah, I got through. Thanks alot! I just had to take a break and go be Jai Yen for a while, at the girlfriends request. Thanks to everyone for their help on the matter.
